The Noncontact Meters model NCM-603 Handheld Portable Clamp-on Ultrasonic Transit Time Flow Meter is designed for easy monitoring of full pipe, clean liquid applications. With a simple installation process suitable for metal and plastic pipe materials, it offers the convenience of no moving parts.

The magnetic handheld Clamp-on Ultrasonic Transit–Time transducer effortlessly attaches to most pipe materials within seconds. Specifically designed for use with ferrous metal pipes, it also includes a strap-on mounting kit for non-ferrous and plastic pipes. Recommended for full-pipe, clean liquid applications such as water, well water, irrigation water, and various types of water including chilled water, city water, cooling tower water, deionized water, sea water, and acids, the NCM-603 serves as an invaluable maintenance tool for technicians, enabling spot checks and flow surveys with ease.

Theory of Operation

The portable flowmeter uses the transit time difference principal for non-contact flow rate measurement for full pipe clean liquid applications. Utilizing the latest digital signal process technology offers high performance and easy installation and operation
