RGAI-70 Pulse to Analog Signal Converter
Brand: NOVALYNX
Lead-Time: This product ships in approximately 2 weeks from time of order.
The RGAI-70 Rain Gauge Interface converts the signal from a tipping bucket rain gauge into a 4-20 mA current loop signal, ideal for input to a PLC or SCADA system. Each tip of the rain gauge bucket causes the output signal to increase 1% of full scale. Full scale represents 100 tips of the bucket.

This pulse to 4 - 20 mA signal converter can be used with any tipping bucket gauge that has a dry contact output. The calibration of the gauge can be inches or millimeters. A common calibration unit is 0.01" of rainfall per tip of the bucket. In this case, the full scale output (20mA) represents 1 inch of rain. The output remains constant at the end of each tip until the next tip occurs.
These instructions apply only to our pulse to analog signal converter.
Review the owners instruction manual first before installing your rain gauge and signal converter.
